About this event

The Valley Forge CPCU Society Chapter is proud to offer in June an online (6) CE education event. Come join us for both the morning and afternoon sessions, or for only the morning or afternoon sessions.

Both sessions are presented by 22-year insurance industry veteran Steven D. Lyon, CPCU, CIC, CRM, AAI, ARM, AIS , MLIS, AFIS, TRIP -- Founder & Principal of Lyon Consulting Services, LLC (see Steven's Profile)

- Morning Session (9am-12pm)

"2019 ISO CGL Policy Form Changes"

(#130701-PA) 3 State CE /CE for CPCU's

* ISO has released a new edition of its CGL forms and endorsements, which make some needed changes. This class will discuss some significant enhancements to ISO's blanket AI Endorsements, Liquor Liability, GMO, Electronic Smoking / Vaping, Cannabis Exclusions, and a host of other new or revised forms.

- Afternoon Session (1pm - 4pm)

"Clearing Up Contractual Liability Confusion"

(#116783-PA) 3 State CE /CE for CPCU's

* This coverage area of the ISO CGL policy is one of the most misunderstood in P/C Insurance. What really is an 'insured contract'? What is the difference between the indemnity and hold harmless agreement? Learn to decipher the difference between a limited, intermediate and broad form indemnity agreement, and how different state's anti-indemnity laws impact their validity. Be able to identify important restrictive endorsements commonly found on CGL policies in both the standard and excess market. Agreeing to hold a third party harmless usually means additional liability limits are needed by the indemnitor. Explore this complicated subject and walk away with a new understanding of an age old topic.

Cost:

Valley Forge CPCU Chapter Paid Members:

Morning Session: $0 | Afternoon Session: $0

Morning & Afternoon Sessions: $0

All Others (Neighboring chapters, Non-Paid VFC CPCU's, Non-CPCU's):

** Note: Registration fee includes CE filing fees
